The walrus lesson is in Draw Write Now, Book 4.

Marie Hablitzel volunteered at Community Christian School in Red Bluff, CA with the 1st - 2nd grade class.

The walrus was drawn in January, part of her unit on the Polar Regions

The Northern Lights was the highlight of this lesson. Marie gave the children tips on ways they might capture the wonder of the aurora borealis.
