Marie Hablitzel, the creator of the Draw Write Now lessons,
gave lesson to the students in Mrs. Crockett's 1st and 2nd
grade class at Community Christian School in Red Bluff,

Notice the coloring strokes Aaron used in
the sky, water, body, wings and head.
Rachel, age 10, made the ballerina drawing when she first started weekly drawing and writing lessons. Later in the year, she made the self portrait shown above (the blond girl in glasses). The writing practice paper was created using StartWrite. Rachel's writing looked nice, but she formed some letters in an awkward way and labored to write only a few sentences.
